Modernization of a water treatment plant Control System and digitalization of the distribution network Telecontrol System
Context
The client had Omron automation and an outdated SCADA system for the water treatment stage, and only unattended data loggers for the water distribution stage. The project can be divided into two parts: Data acquisition: data integration from the Omron automation of the treatment plant and the Sofrel data loggers. Data exploitation: implementation of a modern and unified visualization and control system for both stages. «Having a quick visualization of the entire plant, managing incidents more swiftly, and, above all, understanding sensitive information such as water consumption through intuitive histograms, has significantly changed their way of working for the better» Gabriel Viscarret, director of Dateando.
